Students sketch and later paint the vibrant colors of summer that flourish in Conservatory biomes and gardens. Roses, day lilies, violets, and irises serve as inspiration for watercolor creations. Focus on the various techniques such as soft and hard edge, laying washes and wet into wets, underpainting and patterns. Discuss composition and color theory.
Art supplies included in the fee for one day students. Art supply list available for those who sign up for the full series. No prior experience is necessary.
