Formed in the early 90’s, Rusted Root’s worldly style quickly charmed fans ofroots music and world rock. The band is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania andknown for their fusion of “Grateful Dead” style bluegrass rock. To date theyhave released seven albums and sold over three million records worldwide.After debuting in 1992 with the self-released Cruel Sun, Rusted Root signedwith Mercury Records and released the 1994 platinum selling breakthrough WhenI Woke, which featured the massive hits ”Send Me On My Way,” “Ecstasy” and“Martyr.” Their huge success allowed the band to tour with Santana, TheGrateful Dead, Dave Matthews Band, The Allman Brothers Band and, perhaps mostnotably, the highly coveted support role on the landmark Jimmy Page/RobertPlant reunion tour.  Food trucks and bar will open at 6pm.160 S.
