Chalk the Block

**September 26, 10:00 AM-6:00 PM** **on Town Square** Chalk the Block features 40 artists decorating the Town Square at Easton TownCenter with unique and colorful artworks. Saturday will feature all artists working to create 6' or 10' designs whilelistening to the music of a half dozen musical acts. A featured space willallow an interactive component where the audience is asked to participate inthe creation of a community drawing. Sunday, the audience is invited back to see the finished products and see whowas awarded prizes for Best of Show, Most Realistic, Most Imaginative, and thePeople Choice Award. Local artist and Columbus College of Art and Design graduate Adam Brouilletteorganized the event in 2012 on behalf of Easton. “I’ve said before that arthas lost its audience,” Brouillette said. “This event brings that audienceback in every sense of the word. The energy created by the interaction betweenartists and spectators is incredible.
