A Dublin boutique is joining the push for breast cancer research. Bliss Accessories & Gifts, a gold retailer for Vera Bradley, is hosting a fundraiser benefiting the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer.
During the three-day event, 20 percent of sales will benefit the foundation. From July 11-13 at the boutique’s Shoppes at River Ridge location, the event features a pajama party, a pink party, a drawing and a Ribbons Wall. The Ribbons Wall, a 20-foot art installation, will be created with the help of the community in celebration and support of all those involved in the breast cancer fight. Participants can post names, pictures and descriptions of loved ones with breast cancer. The wall – a collaboration between Bliss and Thrive Theory, a line of jewelry and gifts for women – will be revealed on July 13 and given to the Vera Bradley Foundation.
Bliss owner Susan Ashley, Thrive founder Jenn Bajec and Vera Bradley Foundation Executive Director Catherine Hill will be present Saturday for the presentation of the check from the proceeds and the unveiling of the wall.
