A Tufts Loss
Politics is child’s play in Dorset, Minnesota. Bobby Tufts, the five-year old, former mayor of the town, lost his bid for reelection this year, after ceremonially running the tourist town for two years. The new mayor is an anciently-aged 16-year old. No worries, though – Tufts didn’t take the loss personal.

Cellular Satan
After the failed exorcism of a teenage girl, a Polish priest says that a demonic presence has been harassing him via text. The messages sent to Father Marian Rajchel were believed to have been sent from a normal human that was acting as a vessel for the demon. Some messages include “Anyone who prays for her will die” and “Shut up, preacher.”

That’s a Lot of Spuds, Cuz
In an effort to raise enough money ($10) to make some homemade potato salad, an Ohioan has accumulated more than $55,000 to make this backyard barbecue favorite. Zach Brown kicked off his Kickstarter campaign, received 7,000 unique donations (many under $3) and hosted Potatostock 2014 with the funds. The rest of the money will go to a permanent fund to fight hunger and homelessness.
