For the second time, police in Idaho have had to sedate and move a troublesome elk from the orchards. In one altercation, the animal was woken and startled. It actually nicked an officer of the law with its antler. The big ole apple eater has been moved to a more remote location.

Christie Gets Dunked On
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is making headlines again, and not for a traffic scandal. This time, it’s for a great cause: the ALS Foundation (Lou Gehrig’s disease). Christie recently participated in the Ice Bucket Challenge, which entailed him getting ice water dunked on his head by his two children.

Ruff Around the Edges
After being pulled over for an alleged DUI, 51-year old animal shelter director Jonathan Thomas decided to show a bit of his wild side by growling and showing his teeth to officers. He later wrestled with hospital security while receiving a blood test. This came after trying to get the Porter County officers to adopt a pet iguana. They did not adopt the iguana.
