Eldorado Scioto Downs’ 2016 Summer Concert Series kicks off this weekend with a performance by country music star Travis Tritt.
Tritt will take to the stage Sunday, May 29 at 8 p.m.
Tritt’s successful country music career has spanned over 25 years, including several No. 1 singles on the Billboard country music charts and two Grammy Awards. His career has produced 11 studio albums and several a significant number of radio singles, including 19 Top 10 hits such as “Modern Day Bonnie and Clyde,” “Love Of A Woman” and “T-R-O-U-B-L-E.”
Tritt created his own record label, Post Oak Recordings, in 2012. His most recent album, The Calm After…, was released on Post Oak in 2013.
Following Tritt’s performance on Sunday, musician Tim Omark will perform at the Veil Bar at 10 p.m. Eldorado Scioto Downs then hosts the Memorial Day races on Monday, May 30, starting at 2 p.m.
The next performer in the Summer Concert Series is Rick Springfield (“Jessie’s Girl,” “I’ve Done Everything for You”), who will perform June 25. Clay Walker (“Live Until I Die,” “If I Could Make a Living,” “I Can’t Sleep”) takes the stage July 22, and Jamey Johnson (“The Dollar,” “In Color”) closes out the 2016 series Aug. 20.
The doors open for Tritt’s performance at 7 p.m. The party for VIP ticket holders begins at 5:30 p.m. Audiences must be 21 and older to attend.
