Ring in the Halloween season with a laugh rather than a fright. Shadowbox Live presents The Shadow Zone. The show takes movies like The Shining and morphs them into an impressive rock and roll comedy performance.
The show rings in the fall season by parodying common horror tropes and not-so-scary ghouls. Shadowbox calls the show, “another dimension of sketch comedy.” The Shadow Zone will leave you on the edge of your seat in guessing what’s real and what is not. The Shadow Zone features all the best of what Shadowbox has become known for: Sketch comedy, rock and roll and creative performances.
Shadowbox Live always welcomes ticketholders to come early and grab a bite to eat and have a drink before the show starts.
Shadowbox Live has existed in the Columbus community for more than 25 years. Shadowbox has put on a variety of shows, and will follow up The Shadow Zone with Little Shop of Horrors. Broken Whispers, Shadowbox’s take on The Great Gatsby, continues through Nov. 10.
The Shadow Zone comedy sketch will premiere Sept. 8 and shows will run through Nov. 12. Show times are 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays and two shows on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 and 10:30 p.m. Shadow Zone is a guaranteed thrill. Click here for more information.
