Work from 15 artists from nine regional colleges is on exhibit through May 17 at MINT Collective, 42 West Jenkins Ave.
The exhibit, New School, is a product of a partnership between MINT and ROY G BIV Gallery. Educational workshops and meet-and-greet activities are planned with the goal of educating students on post-graduate opportunities while fostering inter-school cooperation.
The free exhibit is open to the public 3-7 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. An artists' talk will take place 1-2 p.m. May 17, and a workshop for post-graduate prospects will follow at 2-3 p.m.
Represented schools include Columbia College Chicago, Columbus College of Art & Design, Kansas City Art Institute, Kent State University, Oberlin College, Ohio University, Pennsylvania State University, School of the Art Institute of Chicago and The Ohio State University.
