Rupa Ghosh-Berkebile will be one of the soloists at the Capriccio Cabaret "Evening with Sondheim" on April 18.
Songs from various well-loved musicals including Sweeney Todd, Into the Woods, Company, Gypsy and West Side Story will get the cabaret treatment on April 18 when Capriccio Columbus presents "An Evening with Sondheim" at 7 p.m. at the York Golf Club, 7459 N. High St.
Soloists, ensembles and a full chorus will perform a variety of songs while the audience is served hors d'oeuvres and desserts. A cash bar and a silent auction will also be available at this benefit event for Capriccio.

An 80-member group, Capriccio has performed in and around Columbus for nine years. The group has collaborated with the Mansfield Symphony; Central Ohio Symphony; The Ohio State University Orchestra, Choral and Symphonic Choirs; and the New Albany Symphony Orchestra.
"An Evening with Sondheim" tickets are $25, and $15 of that amount is tax deductible. Tickets can be purchased via www.capricciocolumbus.org, or by calling 614-564-2701. They may also be purchased at the door.
