
The ProMusica Chamber Orchestra has a holiday-themed weekend planned for Dec. 12-14, with the showing of The Messiah Side-by-Side Sing-Along on Dec. 12 and a festive classics collection titled Versatile Violin scheduled for Dec. 13-14. David Danzmayr will lead in chorus selections, joined by high school orchestra students and area choral and orchestra directors. Versatile Violin features classics from Mozart, Haydn and Bach, along with "Jubilant Arcs," a new piece co-commissioned between Promusica and the International Heidelberg Festival.
The Messiah Side-by-Side Sing-Along is at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 12 at the Southern Theatre. The Versatile Violin will show at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 13 at the Pontifical College Josephinum and 7 p.m. Dec. 14 at the Southern Theatre. For more information and ticket pricing, please visit www.promusicacolumbus.org.
