The Ohio Theatre will soon become the temporary home for the Angel of Music.
Kicking off March 5, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera will dazzle and delight audiences for 16 shows.
The musical tells the tale of Christine Daae who, after the passing of her father, begins hearing a voice pushing her toward a life of music. She learns that this is not the Angel of Music her father promised to send, but The Phantom.
Daae is fascinated by the decomposing composer, but ultimately falls in love with her childhood sweetheart, Raoul, and the Phantom’s jealousy and hatred for him grows. Daae must choose between a life with The Phantom or the death of her beloved Raoul.
