You may have seen plays, musical performances and films at the Ohio Theatre, and now you will have the chance to actually learn about its history when CAPA offers tours throughout July and August.
Free of charge, these one-hour guided tours offer a behind-the-scenes look at the historic theater as part of the 2013 Summer Movie Series.
On Saturday, July 20, Aug. 3 and Aug. 17 at 4 p.m., visitors will have the chance to look at the history and restoration of the Ohio Theatre, see an exhibition of the theater’s lighting and a demonstration of the original theater organ from 1928, dubbed the “Mighty Morton,” played by Clark Wilson.
Reservations are required, so make yours now by sending an email to sms@capa.com with the number of people in your party and your preferred tour date.
