The Vagabond Opera will shake the way you think of opera Oct. 6 at 2 p.m. at Via Vecchia Winery.
The Portland-based troupe will come with theatrical performances in 15 different languages. Their style is hard to define because it ranges from Neo-classical to Parisian hot jazz to Ukrainian folk-punk.
This unconventional six-piece act is sure to impress any crowd, even those who feel that opera just isn’t for them. Instruments used throughout the performance include everything from the stand-up bass to the accordion.
