Wine and Canvas

What better way to spend Mother’s Day weekend than sipping on wine and creating art? The May 9 session is all booked, but there is a session still available May 8. If you’re celebrating Mother’s Day a bit later, there’s also a Wine and Canvas scheduled for May 11. All art supplies are provided.
Plant a Flower for Mom
Cost: Free with Franklin Park Conservatory admission
Visit Franklin Park Conservatory May 9, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., decorate a planter, and plant a flower with your mother. The afternoon concludes at 2 p.m. with a performance by an ensemble from the Columbus Symphony.
Only celebrating on Sunday, but trying to avoid the long wait at your mom’s favorite brunch spot? Take her to the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium instead. All moms receive free admission with a paid admission for their child or grandchild.
