The Roy G Biv Gallery will host the works of Jesse Kuroiwa and Nick George in their upcoming exhibition.
Kuroiwa portrays history through art. With tranquil landscapes from the Japanese-American internment camps during World War II, each site embodies the past discrimination and the hardships of the war.
George works with pinhole cameras, photograms and paper negatives to provide a meditative retreat within the medium of film photography.
The opening reception is on Nov. 2, from 7-10 p.m. The Artists’ Talk event will be on Nov. 30 at 2:30 p.m.
The gallery is located at 997 N. High St. and is open Wed.-Friday, 3-6 p.m. and Sat., from 1-5 p.m.
