Readers who enjoy reading CityScene Magazine will likewise enjoy HealthScene Ohio’s wide range of stories surrounding the current medical climate across the state.
Like other issues, the fall edition of HealthScene Ohio includes four feature stories that cover a variety of topics. Two of the four features in this issue include an Army veteran’s recovery from PTSD and the growing problem of human trafficking in massage parlors.
Following the four features, the magazine is split into four sections according to regions in Ohio: northeast, northwest, central and southern Ohio. Each section includes profiles on medical professionals who are making a significant impact in the health field, easy-to-read and informative “write advice” columns from medical experts, and local healthy happenings, which showcase images from health-minded events around the state.
Among the regional personality features for the issue are Dr. Holly Pederson, who developed a unique breast cancer service, and Dr. Dunkle-Blatter, who uses a team mentality to help facilitate weight loss.
Write advice, or Q&A-style columns, that readers will find in the fall issue cover the facts behind vaccines, diabetes, the signs of depression and kidney health.
HealthScene Ohio is a quarterly publication, and readers can look forward to the next issue of HealthScene in the winter. If you want to learn all you can about the state of health in Ohio, pick up a copy of HealthScene Ohio.
