One in five Ohio families struggle to put together full and nutritious meals on a daily basis and when a fact like this goes unnoticed, taking steps to visualize the issue can be the first measures in solving it.
The Ohio Arts Council’s Riffe Gallery, in partnership with Toledo-based ProMedica, is opening the exhibition “The Witness to Hunger” to address the problem of hunger in Columbus, in Ohio and in the United States.
The free show portrays the everyday struggles and challenges families face and the joy that comes about when they find a way to make ends meet.
“The Witness to Hunger” is open from March 18 until March 24.
The Riffe Gallery is located at 77 S High St.
