In the midst of winter, the Columbus Immersive Theater is bringing you a slice of summer in Off-Broadway hit PSYCHO BEACH PARTY, a Charles Busch comedy filled with beachy fun in bikinis with a twist of drag.
The Columbus Immersive Theater is a new theater company in Columbus. The cast includes well-known Columbus based actors Doug Joseph, Nick Hardin, Vera Cremeans, and is directed by Edward Casrignan. Together they bring a host of hilariously unique characters, such as a tomboy with a dangerously sexual alter ego, a runaway movie star, a nerd, and a dropout.
The whole play takes place in a beach setting with a vintage feel reminiscent of a 1960’s beach movie, but takes a modern twist with the added drag element of the casting. With so many outrageous personalities in one place, hilarity and debauchery are sure to ensue.
There will be a total of 5 shows starting on Jan. 23 and running on the 24, 30, 31 and Feb. 1. Each performance will take place at 4:30 p.m. The venue is the Garden Theater, and tickets will be limited.
