The choice of more than 400 award-winning wines and tastings from 50 of central Ohio’s finest restaurants make the Columbus Food & Wine Affair a must for any food and wine connoisseur.
The two-day event on Sept. 19 and 20 features three events that are sure to please any palate.
First is Cena di Vino, a five-course wine dinner featuring the culinary expertise of Chef Dean James Max. The evening’s menu will feature dishes from Whole Foods and Hollywood Casino, as well as select wines that pair with the meal. Tickets are $100 each.
The next night is the two main events at Franklin Park Conservatory. First is Discover Hospitality. Again, Chef Dean Max will feature his culinary creations paired with exceptional wines. The $195 tickets include a showcase of food and wine presented by three premier restaurants, valet parking, a silent auction, entertainment and early entrance to the affair’s main attraction: the Grand Tasting.
Now in its 11th year, The Grand Tasting allows you to choose between 400 wines and 50 central Ohio restaurant samplings. The Franklin Park Conservatory, music and artists’ displays all contribute to the atmosphere.
Tickets to the Grand Tasting alone are $130.
Proceeds will benefit the Central Ohio Restaurant Association Foundation, which provides education to those entering the culinary industry and supports charities such as the Mid-Ohio Foodbank.
