On May 7 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., the Whetstone Community Center in Clintonville will host the 8th Annual Columbus Craftacular Showcase. Featured at the show will be handcrafted items, many eco-friendly, recycled and homegrown, as this year’s event themed as “eco-chic.”
The Craftacular will showcase more than 70 local artists, crafters and vendors selling items ranging from clothing to children’s items to bath products. Visitors will be able to shop, mingle with the artists and enjoy food from on-site food trucks. Interactive games and artist demos make the event fun for children as well as adults.
“The majority of our vendors are from the Columbus area,” says Craftacular organizer Jamie Hevener. Hevener is also the owner of Sew Kart, a Craftacular sponsor and vendor. “However, the growing popularity of the Craftacular has gained the attention of makers from all over the state. We are pleased to feature several sellers from across Ohio who will join the fun this year.”
The event will also include swag bags for the first 50 shoppers to arrive, containing items donated by vendors at the Craftacular, as well as a raffle in benefit of Tuff Rescue, a nonprofit pet rescue in Fairfield County. All the items to be raffled off are donated by Craftacular vendors.
Craftacular sponsors include AlloFeed, Crafty Lap, TL Yarn Crafts and more.
Admission to the Columbus Craftacular on May 7 from 10 a.m – 4 p.m. is free and open to the public. To learn more about the 8th Annual Columbus Craftacular, click here.
