Taste of Tri-Village
What better way to know the area than through food on Aug. 4 from 3:30-8:30 p.m. Formerly known as the Taste of UA, this food event has been expanded to include options from Grandview Heights and Marble Cliff as well as Upper Arlington. In addition to sampling specialties from area restaurants, there will be music, displays from local businesses and activities for kids. The event is set to take place in Northam Park in Upper Arlington.
New Albany Farmers Market
Of course you can find the freshest products from your local vendors, but the New Albany Farmers Market isn't just for farmers. In addition to the locally sourced produce, cheese, meats and more, there will also be food trucks and live music. The farmers’ market is set to be open from 4-7 p.m. on August 4 at Market Square in New Albany, and will continue each Thursday through Sept. 8.
Columbus Food Truck Festival
Now you can have more options than that one food truck that sits outside the office. The sixth annual festival is set to host more than 65 food trucks and vendors. In addition, there will be live local music on two stages and a craft alley featuring local artists. Kids’ activities on Aug. 13 include bounce houses, face painting and games. The Food Truck Festival is set to take place on Aug. 12 and 13 from noon-10 p.m. at the Columbus Commons. Admission is free before 6 p.m. on Aug. 12 and before 5 p.m. on Aug. 13, and $5 after.
