Columbus State Community College is celebrating its 50th anniversary with the 25th annual Taste of the Future.
Taste the Future will take place on August 13 from 5:30-9 p.m. at the downtown campus of CSCC.
All proceeds from the event fund scholarships and special projects helping to grant students scholarships through the CSCC Foundation.
This year, more than 50 central Ohio establishments will be presenting their culinary creations.
To celebrate the history of Columbus State, Taste the Future will be honoring six history makers who represent the independent restaurant establishments that participated in the first Taste the Future event in 1989.
The Honorary History Makers include Kamal Boulos, of The Refectory Restaurant and Bistro, Sue Doody of Lindey's, Cameron Mitchell of Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, Paul Panzera of Paul's Fifth Avenue Restaurant & Catering, Kent Rigsby, of Rigsby's Kitchen and Hubert Seifert of SPAGIO.
Tickets for this adult only event are $100 per person.
