Here is a roundup of some of our favorite strange Internet stories that have surfaced this past week.
Rob-A-Bye Baby
It’s like taking candy from a baby for one Oklahoma man who has been deemed the “Binky Bandit.” This suspected carjacker has been caught on surveillance camera sucking on a pacifier around the time of the crime. Citizens in the area are reminded that this man is capable of felonious crimes and that, sometimes, using a pacifier is a technique for people coming down from powerful hallucinogens.
Professional Imposter
After 20 years of pretending to be a police officer, the 69-year old Jim Bailey was arrested for impersonating an officer of the law after breaking up an in-fight dispute between a couple. Bailey’s lawyer says the whole thing is a misunderstanding and Bailey is just a very active good Samaritan.

Malicious Mastication
Did you know it’s illegal to chew up the back seats of a patrol car? Well, 42-year old Staci Anne Spence from Idaho learned that lesson after chomping into the cop car. She was charged last week with felonious malicious injury to property and other misdemeanors, including resisting arrest and battery on an officer.

Phot-O-bama
A lawyer has had her license suspended after being ousted for photoshopping herself into photos with more than 50 celebrities, including President Obama, Paris Hilton and George Clooney. Svitlana Sangary was warned by the California State Bar to take the photos down because it was a sort of false advertisement of her prestige. She didn’t listen. And she still has them up online.
And if this dog’s name isn’t “Pavlov” then it should be some sort of crime:
