Set to elope, a 23-year old man from the UK decided to fake his own death instead of marrying his sweetheart of two years. Instead of calling it quits for the relationship, Tucker Blandford had someone pose as his father and give his ex-fiancé a call, stating that he threw himself in front of a car and died. Blandford paid his half of the wedding expenses and the two haven’t spoke since.
Beat the Heat
A wanted man in North Carolina won a police-sponsored donut eating competition, despite having a standing, nine month warrant. Bradley Hardison ate eight glazed treats in under two minutes to take home the trophy, but after his name and picture were printed in the paper, the police came to arrest him on felonious theft charges.

Herman “Hy” Goldman, a 101-year old light fixture mechanic, refuses to take a day off. Since 1941, he has driven himself to work at Capitol Lighting in New Jersey. He specializes in light repairs to buildings that have been deemed unusable.

Early Enrollment
When a pregnant Vanessa DeLeon went to enroll her son into the Fisher Elementary pre-k program and ended up giving birth at the school.
