Rockford Homes
When the Building Industry Association of Central Ohio decided this year’s Parade of Homes was going to be bigger than usual, the organization didn’t mess around.
Compare: Last year’s Parade, at Northstar in Sunbury, had six homes on it – a smaller tally than usual. This year’s Parade, at Verona in Powell, has 16 – the most in a Parade since 2005.
The Parade runs Sept. 3-18.
Verona, previously the site of Shamrock Golf Club, is located on Powell Road, just east of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. It was developed by local builder Vince Romanelli.
The neighborhood spans 113.5 acres and, when all is said and done, will contain 112 single-family homes and 54 patio homes.
Homes on this year’s tour range in price from $700,000 to $1.3 million.
The Foundation Home this year was built by Bob Webb Homes. Proceeds from its sale benefit the BIA Foundation and Habitat for Humanity-MidOhio.
Admission is $15 at the Parade entrance.
