The Tour de Grandview Cycling Classic will return to Grandview for its 21st run June 27.
Bicycle racing through the streets of the city will highlight the weekend-long event. Amateur and professional riders will start and end on W. First Avenue, between Glendale and Hope avenues for a few different trials. Races range from 15 – 30 miles long.
The Kids’ Sprint Challenge will award the fastest child of any age as they race down W. First Avenue. The race is $5 to enter and the funds raised go to Pelotonia.
“We’re so glad to have the Tour back for the twenty-first time,” says Grandview Heights Mayor Ray DeGraw in a press release. “It’s one of Grandview’s great annual traditions and one of the best summer events in central Ohio. We look forward to welcoming the cyclists, gathering with neighbors and friends, seeing the races and enjoying the party and we welcome everyone in Columbus to join us.”
