The luck of the Irish was on Ha’penny Bridge Imports' side during its seventh annual Best Legs in a Kilt contest. The Irish and Celtic gift shop raised $300 for the Dublin Food Pantry, compared to last year’s $100.
Attendees donated 234 pounds of canned goods.
“The history of (Best Legs in a Kilt) is growing,” says Anne Gleine, who co-owns Ha’penny with her husband, Al. The event was hosted March 11 at the Historic Dublin Brazenhead.
Tom LaStrange won this year’s competition. Armando Lynn, Joe Federer, Carl Bauer, Tad Wielezynski, Val Wielezynski, Mike Orzo and Brion Jones also competed, with Tad taking second place and Orzo taking third.
