The family-friendly musical, Peter and the Starcatcher, presented by CATCO and CATCO is Kids, is a prequel to the famous story of Peter Pan, Wendy, Tinkerbell and Captain Hook.
“The story, which is delivered in a mixture of storytelling, song and imaginative movement, is everything we love about going to the theatre,” says show director Steven C. Anderson in a written statement. “It’s perfect for the holidays, daring theatre-goers to imagine, hope and dream.”
The musical mixes comedy, adventure and music, and tells the audience the tale of how Peter Pan got his name, how Tinkerbell came to be and even how Captain Hook lost his hand.
Mark Mineart, Emma Cordray, Andrew Levitt and Danny Turek are just a few of the performers who are playing characters in the show, as the cast has 12 characters.
In addition to winning Tony Awards, the show also has won many Obie and Lucille Lortel awards.
