In Monet’s Garden: The Lure of Giverny, opens Oct. 12 at The Columbus Museum of Art. The event features 12 Monet paintings and accompanying works by American Impressionists who visited and worked at Monet’s home in Giverny, the subject of his famous water lily and Japanese footbridge paintings. The exhibition is being held in partnership with the Musee Marmottan Monet, a Paris museum that focuses on impressionism. Visit www.columbusmuseum.org for information and tickets.

Impressionist Exhibition: American Experience in Giverny, opens Oct. 6 at The Keny Galleries, 300 E. Beck St. This exhibit is in conjunction with the Columbus Museum of Art’s Monet exhibit. Visit www.kenygalleries.com.

An exhibit featuring the work of Columbus artist Michael McEwan will open Sept. 6 at The Keny Galleries. McEwan is best known for his impressionistic landscapes and portraits. Visit www.kenygalleries.com.

The East of Eden exhibit will be held Sept. 4-12 at the Schumacher Gallery on the campus of Capital University. It will feature contemporary Ohio landscape painters. Additional events will be held throughout the semester.
