Merchants in Upper Arlington's Tremont Shopping Center will do their part to spread cheer - locally and overseas - with a special holiday event Dec. 22.
The event, which will run from 6-8 p.m. in the center's courtyard, will feature a visit from Santa Claus and his reindeer, carolers and horse-drawn carriage rides, as well as free cookies, cider, coffee and cocoa. Residents and shoppers will also have the opportunity to send video greetings to U.S. troops stationed overseas. The event and its activities are open to the public.
"The holidays are such a great time of year, and shopping is a big part of getting in the spirit," says Steve Hess, the center's manager. "All our merchants wanted to contribute something to enhancing the spirit of the season, so we're hoping lots of our customers and neighbors can join us for this wonderful holiday event."
Tremont Shopping Center is located across from the Upper Arlington Main Library on Tremont Road. For more information, call 614-228-5547.
