Pop music vocal legends The Lettermen will roll into town Friday, Oct. 26 and Saturday, Oct. 27 at 8 p.m. at the Ohio Theatre, 39 E. State St., for an unforgettable evening which will showcase their world-famous close harmonies, and thrilling renditions of standards like The Way You Look Tonight, Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You and Smile.
This marks the eighth time the Lettermen have performed for the Columbus Symphony audience over the years, the first occurring in 1989. The trio’s rich 47-year history includes 75 albums and 18 international gold records. Albert-George Schram will conduct the Columbus Symphony.
Additionally, the first semi-final round of The Great Columbus Sing-Off will open Friday’s program. This time, the Ohio Theatre audience will judge which of Friday’s three contestants (Lauren Hannay, Mark Wilson and Kimberly Lawson) will move on to become one of three finalists. Contestant video clips are available on www.ColumbusSymphony.com.
