Tony Bennett's Columbus Symphony Gala performance, which was originally scheduled for Thursday, April 19 at the Ohio Theatre, has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 18.

Bennett postponed his concert appearance as a result of continuing flu symptoms including congestion. The 15-time Grammy winner was advised by his doctor to restrict plane travel and to rest. Bennett is expected to return to his full concert schedule, which includes a concert tour of the UK and US, in May.

Tickets sold for the original concert date will be honored on Sept. 18. The Columbus Symphony Development Office will contact all Gala attendees with specific details on the Gala event.
