Spend an evening with Tom Waits for his Glitter and Doom Tour, at the Ohio Theatre June 28 at 8 p.m.

An iconic singer/songwriter, Waits has a distinctive voice that has perservered through decades of longevity. His signature "growl" is evident on songs such as Jersey Girl, Ol' 55 and Downtown Train. Many of his originals have become well-known through other artists' covers, but Waits maintains a strong underground following.

Waits has two Grammy Awards for his albums Bone Machine and Mule Variations.
He has also been nominated for an Academy Award for his work on the soundtrack for One From the Heart.
