Columbus' Jazz Arts Group (JAG) unveils its new contemporary music series, Inside Track, June 4-6 and June 19-20 at the historic and newly restored Lincoln Theatre, 771 E. Long St.

JAG’s opening night, June 4, features Byron Stripling and the Columbus Jazz All-Stars, followed by Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue on June 5-6.

Local blues favorites the Sean Carney Band will appear June 19-20 with special guest and Columbus jazz great Gene Walker.

The Inside Track series is designed to feature a cross-section of contemporary music, including jazz and blues, rock and R & B. The June shows are a precursor to the 2009-2010 Inside Track schedule to be announced this summer.
