Bluegrass Music’s Official Ambassador, Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder, will perform with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra for a Picnic with the Pops event on July 14 at 8:15 p.m. on the lawn of Chemical Abstracts Service, 2540 Olentangy River Rd.

Ricky Skaggs is a 12-time Grammy Award winner who performs country and bluegrass. Maestro Albert-George Schram will lead the symphony.

Gates open at 6 p.m. for those interested in picnicking.
