Columbus is one of 12 test sites nationwide now carrying the new DiGiorno Ultimate pizza, which is available in grocery stores throughout the area. The product will be launched to the rest of the country in July.

The DiGiorno Ultimate pizza is the first nationally-available frozen pizzeria-style pizza. It will feature Italian-inspired ingredients including crushed vine-ripened tomatoes, whole-milk mozzarella cheese, specialty meats and julienne-cut vegetables.

“With DiGiorno Ultimate pizza, we’ve created the true taste of neighborhood pizza by marrying Italian-inspired ingredients with our distinctive pizzeria-style crust,” says Tom Moe, Senior Brand Manager, DiGiorno.

The Ultimate Pizza will be available in four varieties:
• DiGiorno Ultimate Four Cheese – whole-milk mozzarella, mild brick,
Fontina and Reggiano Parmesan cheese imported from Italy
• DiGiorno Ultimate Pepperoni – large cut Pepperoni with a trio of
Italian-style cheeses
• DiGiorno Ultimate Four Meat – Julienne-cut Genoa Salami,
Applewood Smoked Bacon, Sausage and Pepperoni
• DiGiorno Ultimate Supreme – Italian sausage, large cut pepperoni,
mushrooms, and julienne strips of red onions and green and red peppers
