The 2009 Summer Fridays at the Statehouse schedule of performances has been announced.

This free lunch-time outdoor performing arts series presented on the West Plaza (High Street) of the historic Statehouse showcases many of Columbus' diverse arts groups. The series is held every Friday from May 29 through Sept. 4, between noon and 1 p.m.

There is no performance on July 3 because of the holiday. In the event of inclement weather, performances are canceled.

Visitors are encouraged to bring their lunch or purchase their lunch at the Capitol Cafe located on the ground floor of the Statehouse. The Capitol Cafe, operated by Catering by Design, will feature reasonably priced “grab and go” lunch specials each Friday. For more information, visit www.ohiostatehouse.org.
