Dine Originals Columbus and Buckeye Ranch have partnered to bring The Taste of the Independents event,which will be held May 1 at the Smith Bros. Hardware Building, 580 N. 4th. St., from 6-9 p.m.

Tickets are $100 per person.

The evening will include samples of the finest cuisine from 33 locally-owned restaurants, as well as microbrewed beers and wines from small vineyards. Mango Maytinis will also be available, and were created specifically for this event.

Entertainment will be provided by a three-piece band from the Columbus Jazz Arts Group.
