Pino Gelato Bistro has opened its doors in The Shoppes At River Ridge in Dublin. The franchise, headquartered in Hilton Head, S.C. was brought to Central Ohio by owners Ron and Carol Harris.

Pino Gelato's menu includes gelato, meaning “ice cream” in Italian, which is essentially made with milk. Pino Gelato’s authentic recipe uses the freshest ingredients with no artificial flavorings or added chemicals to make its gelato and sorbetto. The items are lower in fat, cholesterol and calories than traditional American ice cream, without a compromise in taste.

Along with gelato, the Pino Gelato Bistro offers pastries, coffee, specialty drinks and a new item, "pizza in a cone," which is pizza dough shaped into an ice cream cone and filled with cheese, sauce and toppings.
