In honor of the Maynard Avenue United Methodist Church's centennial anniversary this year, the Otterbein College Concert Choir will perform a free and open-to-the-public concert at 4 p.m. Nov. 8 at the church, 2350 Indianola Ave. in Columbus.

The first performance by the choir in its 2009/2010 season, the concert program will include masterworks by composers such as William Byrd and Franz Joseph Haydn. The concert choir is the most select of Otterbein's seven vocal ensembles: most of its 50 members are music or musical theater majors.
