Oh, Snap!
Six Degrees performance scheduled

SNAP! Performance Productions, a non-profit performing arts group, will present its 5th annual singing and dancing production. The show will take place on May 1-3 at the BalletMet’s new Annex Space.

SNAP! is an acronym for Supporting Non-Profit Associations by Performing. The yearly production is a unique blend of high-energy singing and choreographed dancing. The group has more than 60 members in its all volunteer cast who must audition to become a performer in the show.

“We have got some amazing new talent for this year’s show. Once again our show is fast paced, fun, creative and exciting, with numbers from all music genres," says Lynette Shy, co-founder of SNAP! Performance Productions.

The past two years SNAP! has formed a partnership with St. Vincent Family Centers (SVFC). SVFC is an organization that helps children with severe emotional problems. SNAP! & SVFC have teamed up to provide the children with additional volunteers, free performances and lessons in singing and dancing. In addition to volunteering of their time and talents, SNAP! also donates a portion of every ticket sold for their spring performance directly to SVFC.

Tickets for the SNAP! Spring Production are on sale now. For more information or to order tickets, visit www.snapcolumbus.org.
