Katzinger's Delicatessen, 475 S. 3rd St., will host a "We Love Cheese" tasting March 29 at 6:30 p.m.

It will include samples of many different types of cheeses, along with Elevator Brewing Company beer. Participants will learn about the history and production of the cheeses, and how to distinguish a farm-made cheese from a factory cheese.

Cheeses will include domestic and European, aged and crumbly, young and spreadable, nutty and stinky. They are 10 percent off throughout the month of March. There are literally thousands of different types of cheeses in the world. Katzinger's has close to 100.
