Local pizza chain raises money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

Rotolo’s Italian Pizzeria locations around Columbus raised $1,638 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital during the Halloween season as part of the 17th annual St. Jude Halloween Promotion, according to a press release.

Rotolo’s was one of the thousands of retail locations around the country that participated in the Halloween campaign. The top fundraising location was the Sawmill Road Rotolo’s in Powell, which raised a total of $472.

During the campaign, Rotolo’s employees at participating locations asked patrons to maked a $1 donation to St. Jude. The money raised will support St. Jude’s mission to find cures for children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. In return for the contribution, donors could write their names on a pumpkin pinup, which the stores displayed through October.

“Rotolo’s is proud to support Halloween and be partners with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to help further its mission of finding cures and save children’s lives,” said Dominic Rotolo, chief operating officer of Rotolo’s Italian Pizzeria.

Established in 1974, Rotolo’s currently has seven locations in Central Ohio, including storefronts in Grandview/Arlington and Dublin. For more information about Rotolo’s, go to www.rotolospizza.com.
