Spring Home Shows
Spring is finally here, and with it comes two outstanding home shows hosted by the BIA of Central Ohio. CondoQuest highlights carefree living options while the Showcase of Remodeled Homes features some outstanding renovation projects. Both events offer great resources and inspiration to the public.
CondoQuest is all about ease of living. For many people the thought of never again mowing the lawn, cleaning the gutters or shoveling snow is very appealing. For young professionals or recent retirees, condominium living offers worry-free living. For new homebuyers, a condo can be a great way to ease into the responsibility of property ownership. It’s an option that can be right for just about everyone.
This year’s CondoQuest, sponsored by Wells Fargo Bank,
The Columbus Dispatch and
www.columbusrealestate.com, will feature every option from stand-alone patio homes to two-story townhouses. Properties can be found throughout the city and in a variety of price ranges.
For a complete listing of the condos to be featured, visit the BIA Web site at
www.biahomebuilders.com. The show runs from noon until 6 p.m. the weekends of April 25-26 and May 2-3.
For the past 20 years, members of BIA’s Remodelors Council have featured their projects in the Showcase of Remodeled Homes. This two-day event highlights projects throughout Central Ohio, showcasing expert craftsmanship, whole house renovations, additions, indoor/outdoor living areas and landscaping. It’s a great opportunity to see the fine craftsmanship of some of the best remodelers throughout Central Ohio.
This year’s Showcase is from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 16 and from noon to 5 p.m. May 17. Featured properties are scattered throughout the city. A complete map and listing of homes to be included in the tour will be available after May 4 at
www.biahomebuilders.com, on the “Shows & Events” tab.
Tickets for the entire tour can be purchased for $10 per person, or $3 per single location (children under 12 are free when accompanied by an adult).
Of course, don’t forget about the annual BIA Parade of Homes, which will take place this year at Tartan Ridge in Dublin and runs July 11-26. This year’s Parade will feature 11 of Central Ohio’s premier custom home builders. The Tartan Ridge development is adjacent to Glacier Ridge Metro Park and will eventually highlight a newer community design concept with a mixture of housing options, ample green space and even some retail space.
