CAPA will present Irish fiddler Eileen Ivers to the Southern Theatre March 8 at 7 p.m.
Ivers, who has been called "the Jimi Hendrix of violin" by The New York Times, is a nine-time All-Ireland Fiddle Champion, was an original music star of Riverdance, a founding member of Cherish the Ladies and has been a featured guest artist with more than 30 symphonies worldwide as well as The Chieftains, Afro-Celts, Hall & Oates, Patti Smith, Paul Cole and more.
Ivers' recording credits include more than 80 contemporary and traditional albums and numerous movie scores. She will perform with her band Immigrant Soul.
