You can't use boredom as an excuse for doing nothing during the weekend of March 2-4, when the Arnold Sports Festival 2007 descends upon Columbus.
The energy-charged Festival features 33 events with 14 Olympic sports, 650 fitness-related booths, ongoing stage entertainment and more - all for a daily ticket cost of $10.
The 2007 EXPO at the Greater Columbus Convention Center dominates attendance among the events at the world's largest fitness celebration. Other EXPO ticket events will take place at Nationwide Arena and Veterans Memorial. Shuttle bus rides will be accessible to all three venues.
"Our intent is to provide quality entertainment, the largest merchandise and world-caliber sports competitions at an affordable price. The Festival puts an international spotlight on Columbus," says Jim Lorimer, co-producer of the event.
Highlights include an appearance by California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, star athletes and national and international Olympic contenders.
There are many new highlights for this year's Festival, including the Active Aging Festival; Arnold Archery Competition; Arnold Amateur Men's and Women's Bodybuilding Championships and Arnold Amateur Fitness and Figure Championships; Arnold International Open Grappling Championships; International youth dance competition; Sumo wrestling demonstrations; WWE Talent Recruitment Program; and USA Weightlifting's World Team Qualifying Event.
