Whether one prays to the gods of hair metal, twangs out to country or anything in between, there's an autographed item for you this fall at Germain Amphitheater.
Signed pieces from the likes of Def Leppard, Poison, Josh Groban, Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn and many more will hit the auction block at the Sixth Annual F.Y.E. For Your Entertainment Germain Amphitheater Charity Auction on Thursday, Sept. 6 on the Germain Amphitheater stage, 2200 Polaris Parkway.
All proceeds will benefit Children of the Future, an arts and public safety program targeted at inner-city youth ages 5 to 12. Children of the Future is part of the Greater Columbus Arts Council’s Community Arts Education Program.
The auction is open to the public with a $5 donation to Children of the Future. All guests attending the event will receive a raffle ticket for various door prizes upon entrance. Additional raffle tickets are also available for purchase.
A silent auction will begin at 5:30 p.m. and last throughout the auction. The live auction portion begins at 8 p.m.
Framing for all items has been donated by the Columbus Framing Gallery, 3439 E. Broad St.
Auction goers will also see a significant amount of items from an additional local promoter. PromoWest Productions donated a number of autographed pieces from Lifestyle Communities Pavilion, Newport Music Hall and The Basement shows to support the event.
Over the past five years, Germain Amphitheater has raised nearly $100,000 for the Children of the Future program through memorabilia auctions.
