Fourth of July Parade changes start time

 

The Rotary 4th of July Parade start time has changed. The parade will now begin at 1 p.m. on July 4. 

The complete schedule of events for the July 4 holiday is as follows:


6 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.: Registration for all run, walk and children’s run events at Alum Creek Park
8 a.m.: Rotary 5k Run & Walk
9 a.m.: Rotary Children’s Fun Run 400 & 800 yard dash
9:15 a.m.: Awards ceremony at Rotary Amphitheater
1 p.m.: Rotary parade and WARM Community Food Drive

     - Food will be collected along the parade route, which begins at Heatherdown Drive ad State Street and moves north to St. Paul Catholic Church.
10 p.m.: Rotary fireworks display supported by The City of Westerville
     - Launched from Alum Creek Park South and behind Alliance Data

In case of poor weather, the fireworks display will be moved to July 5 at the same time and location.
