CATCO will present iots final show of the season, The Foursome, through June 29 after extending the production by four shows due to high demand. The play is being held at the Vern Riffe Center, Studio One Theatre, 77 S. High St.
New dates include Thursday, June 26, 8 p.m.; Friday, June 27, 8 p.m.; Saturday, June 28, 8 p.m.; and Sunday, June 29, 2 p.m.
Taking center stage will be four former buddies who have reconnected at their college reunion years later to catch up over a game of golf in Norm Foster's hilarious comedy. But instead of sharing wistful nostalgia about the past, the four friends find themselves competing just as they did in college - no holds bared.
As they make their way from tee to tee, the stakes get higher, the claims get wilder and the secrets get juicier. By the 18th hole, nothing is sacred. Just in time for golf season, the Contemporary American Theatre Company (CATCO) will present the Columbus premiere of The Foursome May 30-June 22, 2008, at the Vern Riffe Center.
The Foursome cast includes Damian Bowerman (Donnie), Rick Clark (Rick), Ralph Scott (Ted) and Wolf Sherrill (Cameron). Bowerman’s CATCO appearances include The Underpants, Arsenic and Old Lace, Escanaba In Da Moonlight and The Laramie Project. Regional credits include performances at Porthouse Theatre, Barn Theatre, Ohio Chautauqua, Wexner Center, Phoenix Theatre for Children and Huron Playhouse. Sherrill, an assistant professor of acting at James Madison University, appeared in The Laramie Project at CATCO. He has also worked in numerous regional theatres, included Indiana Repertory Theater and The Arvada Center.
